Hullabaloo is a celebration of all things swing dancing in Perth, Western Australia.
What began in 2003 is now an incredibly vibrant annual festival that includes an abundance of social dancing, 2 full days of workshops with international instructors, the very best Perth swing bands, the much loved Hullabaloo Ball, dance competitions, late nights and loads more.
But what really makes Hullabaloo is the people that attend. Each year new friendships are formed with dancers locally and from all over the world.
Is it only for advanced dancers you may ask? No way!
Hullabaloo has something for dancers at all levels and is the perfect opportunity to learn something new. Whether you’ve just started lessons or you’re an accomplished veteran lindy hopper, the 2021 Hulla will be unforgettable.
Hullabaloo is presented by Perth Swing Dance Society (PSDS) a not-for-profit organisation and is run completely by volunteers. The PSDS is always happy for people to lend a hand so if you’re interested in volunteering be sure to get in touch.
Hullabaloo is the most popular festival on the Perth swing calendar and events often sell out, so we ask people to purchase passes ahead of time.
